This is one of three in the series which will be screened in Bendigo in October 2007 for 'Undue Noise'. I will perform additional live soundtrack on the night.
I think these slow moving videos are quite good. They seem to have strong presence. The faces become very interesting. It's like a private viewing into the performers soul. The music draws out this feeling by adding a primal esoteric backdrop.
Thanks David. slow motion opens up the possibilities for the soundtrack artist, in that it changes viewed reality and therefore makes it more acceptable for the brain to accept audio anomalies. This is also true of other distorted vision effects and often the more subtle the effect the stronger the affect.
